Job Description:
  
Amazon.com is seeking dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Finance team as a Site Controller/Finance Manager for our India Fulfillment center.  This individual will be the financial leader for a business unit including management of variable cost, fixed cost, capital expenditures, supply chain and transportation costs. The individual will operate as a member of the Senior Site Leadership Team.  Duties will include.

·        Ensure financial controls are in place and followed
·        Lead the budgeting and forecasting efforts for the facility
·        Manage the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly results reporting
·        Work with the facility to drive process improvements and cost savings
·        Manage the facility buying and finance teams.


Job Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills:

·        3-5 years’ experience managing a finance team

Amazon India  In House Attorney

Summary Description:

Amazon.com, a US based MNC in the ecommerce business, has an exciting opening for a smart young inhouse attorney with six to eight years of post qualification experience to provide end to end legal support to the Amazon business located in NCR.

The Attorney will report to the, Associate General Counsel and Director Legal and Corporate Affairs based in New Delhi. The Attorney will be based in Bangalore and will be required to travel to other cities in India and occasionally outside of India. The  Attorney serves as the primary  legal contact to to the Bangalore based teams of Amazon.com  and any other business or location that Amazon may add to the portfolio over time.  .

The Attorney structures, drafts, negotiates and advises on a wide range of matters from standard commercial contracts, to complex, high-dollar value transactions and cutting-edge business initiatives; provides day-to-day corporate and business law counseling; administers and resolves legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships; provides legal review of advertisements, promotions and marketing; and legal review of procedural and government compliance issues.

The  Attorney will also work with the  Director Legal and Corporate Affairs on compliance initiatives, and on planning and executing process improvements and training.

Throughout all the above tasks the Attorney will closely coordinate with the global legal teams and outside counsel.

6 – 8 years or more of in-house legal experience with a multi-national company  or a leading law firm environment is highly preferred. Experience working in a consumer-products, manufacturing, e-commerce or retail business is preferred.

Competence in a broad range of corporate and business laws is required; especially in the areas of commercial transactions and intellectual property (esp. copyright and trademark) and statutory compliances including Shops and Establishment Act and other State of Karnataka laws relevant to the Amazon business.

The ICQA Manager has complete responsibility for overall Fulfillment Center Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA).

Title:               ICQA Manager
Location:        Mumbai

Responsibilities:-

·         Measurement of quality & inventory transaction integrity accuracy while providing feedback to the operations.
·         Review & analysis of customer defect data with development of corresponding action plans to reduce defects.
·         Develop & execute daily, weekly & monthly action plans that increase quality, inventory accuracy & service.
·         Partner with Area Managers & Operations Managers in the communication of policies.
·         Follow up to ensure compliance & consistency for policies & procedures surrounding
Inventory Control & Quality.
·         Plan & execute cycle counts as described in each area of the facility.
·         Establish & Maintain Inventory handling procedures within the building.
·         Plan for & identify root causes of inventory deviation through cause & effect analysis.
·         Drive process improvements & the ability to keep pace with our explosive growth while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven environment.
·         Candidate must be able to teach & educate managers and associates on the importance of inventory control & quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications:-

·         Bachelor's degree
·         3+ years related Inventory & Quality Assurance Management experience
·         Supervisory experience in a Distribution or Manufacturing environment
